GTV’s Child Sponsorship Program does not limit itself to providing direct support to the sponsored children, but it also works to improve the school facilities they attend, making improvements that can benefit the entire school community.
The goal is not only to support the education of children from economically disadvantaged families but also to ensure that the schools they attend are safe and high-quality environments for everyone. This year, the indirect budget of the Child Sponsorship Program was assigned to Lien Viet Secondary School in the Coc Pai commune and to the primary and secondary schools in Ban Diu.

At Lien Viet School, attended by a total of 492 students (including 145 boarding students during the week), a new 170 m² roof was built to cover the dormitory area, significantly improving hygiene and safety conditions.         
At Ban Diu Primary School, which hosts 470 students (303 of whom are boarders from ethnic minority groups), a 20-meter-deep well was constructed to provide safe drinking water year-round. At the nearby Ban Diu Secondary School, with 350 students, a second, deeper well was drilled through layers of rock and equipped with a high-capacity pumping system.

These initiatives, made possible thanks to the generous contributions of GTV’s Italian donors, represent a tangible and lasting contribution to the well-being of over 1,300 students.
