For 20 years, GTV has been carrying out a Child Sponsorship Programme. We believe that education and training are fundamental for evolution, progress, development and emancipation from poverty. This is the reason why we want to support families with children.
Child Sponsorship Programme is the programme through which, thanks to a small economic contribution from Italian families, it is possible to guarantee education for Vietnamese children from northern Vietnam mountains.
Child Sponsrship with GTV in Vietnam
GTV supports children with severe difficulties, who are often orphans and who cannot be properly helped by their families.
Therefore, it is crucial to receive help from an “adoptive” family, with the aim of giving them a contribution to their growth.
With a commitment to pay € 300 per year (€ 25 per month), you will be paired with a boy or a girl, previously identified by us, who needs specific assistance (nutritional, health, school support).
You will become a crucial support not only for him or her, but also for the whole family.
Through this support, we can guarantee:
- Direct support to the child’s family through the donation of rice, kits for the kitchen and the countryside, school supplies and the full coverage of school fees.
- Direct support to schools, through an infrastructural upgrading, and the updating of the teachers.
The Distance support has not an actual expiration date.
It generally ends when the child concludes his/her school career, finds a job and can support himself/herself.

Thu, a Vietnamese girl, has been involving in GTV’s Child Sponsorship Programme for 5 years.
Thanks to Mrs. Patrizia, Thu was able to go to school and every year she writes to Patrizia to tell her about her and to update her on her school progresses.
Finally this year, Thu was able to send Patrizia a video – message. Patrizia received it, and with a bit of concussion in seeing her little girl closer, she replies and sends her, her video – response.

Fiscal Benefits
All donations to the NGOs are deductible from taxable income. Accordingly, also your donations to GTV for Child Sponsorship Programme and other projects, can be deducted from income or from taxes.
In order to benefit of tax benefits provided for by the law, there is no need for our attestation. At the time of tax return, it will be enough to attach a document that certifies the donation, such as a bank account statement o a copy of the postal order.
Where necessary, you can ask us for a communication with the total of your donations made during the previous year.
Transparency
Our association aims at being sustainable and transparent, communicating with every donor how their contribution is used , showing them pictures and videos about the results achieved and making them communicate with the children supported through periodic letters. Every year, GTV builds attentively a budget that can cover all the activities of the Remote Support Program Ogni anno, encountering the needs of the children supported and supporting their communities.
In the following image you can see how the budget of the program is allocated for the year 2024, for different expenditure categories. It is to be underlined that GTV, this year, has decided to use the remanent budget of previous years to support the school of the province of Ha Giang.
