Personal hygiene is learned by playing
Dec 02 2022The latest activities of the FIABA project - Training on Hygiene, Nutrition and Pupils Wellbeing have once again brought color and joy to schools.
Although approaching the end of the school year, and, therefore, being engaged in various activities, the teachers and staff trained in the previous actions of the project have worked hard to carry out the hygiene awareness campaigns extended to all the schools present on the territory of the 5 municipalities involved in the project.
In the week from 17 to 24 May, a series of events led by trained teachers involved the pupils of 90 primary and kindergarten schools in the municipalities of Nam Dan, Che La, Then Phang, Thu Ta and Chi Ca.3,811 students so they spent a very special half day dedicated to personal hygiene. The trainers offered the children a program full of exciting, colorful and fun activities. In each school they taught good personal hygiene practices to children who, through games, dances, creative workshops and training moments, learned how to properly wash their hands, teeth, how to use the bathroom and keep it clean.
Now children not only know new things, but they will put them into practice in their daily lives, being an example in their families and communities, where they return with a beautiful smile, a tube of toothpaste and a scented soap.
