Schools in the Xin Man district are currently closed, due to the increasing spread of Covid-19 in the area.
However, the current difficult situation is not stopping the FIABA project - Training on Food Hygiene and Pupils Wellbeing, whose aim is to strengthen quality education in the most isolated villages of the district.

 Although classes were suspended, GTV distributed new school material, games and furnishings for the five nursery schools involved in the project.
Thanks to the help of parents and teachers, on 18th and 19th November 2021 the five schools received new mattresses, blankets, rugs, wardrobes and shelves, chairs and tables, outdoor and indoor toys.

In an area where school drop-out is still very high, and where the only way for ethnic minorities to learn Vietnamese is to attend school, GTV wants to continue to fulfill education’s projects, always in partnership with local institutions.
FIABA Project will continue along with other trainings for teachers and parents. We all hope that the Covid-19 spread will slow down in Xin Man, so that we will be able to organise this type of events in the next months.
