Despite all the difficulties arising from COVID-19, GTV was able to organise the annual Summer Camp. It is one of the most remarkable events for the association.
It is a very important moment dedicated to the entertainment and amusement of children who are supported by Italian families. The event was postponed due to Covid-19 restrictions in Vietnam, but finally the Summer Camp took place last weekend (23rd-24th October 2021).
The event was held in an "itinerant" form, involving three different municipalities of Xin Man district. It was possible also thanks to the precious support of CSDS volunteers, an association of young university students from Hanoi join this activity with children every year.
The experience was outstanding, both for the children and for the volunteers. The participants interacted in a peaceful and cheerful atmosphere, sharing playful activities.

At the end, the children dedicated a moment to the correspondence with their sponsors. All the children’s letters will be translated soon and delivered to the Italian families, in order to maintain alive the bridge between East and West that GTV desires to build.
