With the Child Sponsorship Program, GTV provides nearly 100 children living in the poorest areas of Vietnam with the tools to continue school and to grow up more peacefully. In addition to school supplies and the supply of rice, we also make sure that all children are visited once a year by paediatricians or specialist doctors and to follow medical treatment if necessary. This activity is very close to our hearts: in the economically poor and isolated villages of North Vietnam, the poorest families often do not have the possibility to provide care and medical assistance to their children.

This year, children and teenagers in Son Dong district were able to be visited by a dentist, while children living in Ha Giang province received a general paediatric examination to check their physical health. As GTV we are now collecting the indications of the doctors in order to be able to finance any necessary treatment to ensure the well-being of these children and young people. It will remain our commitment to communicate these interventions to the supporting families!
