As every year, the Child Sponsorship Program (SAD) not only helps the children supported by Italian sponsors but also seeks to extend its benefits to all the other young inhabitants of Xin Man.
To do this, approximately 15% of the program’s funds are allocated annually to preschools, primary, and secondary schools in the four involved municipalities: Ta Nhiu, Ban Ngo, Coc Pai, and Nam Dan.

For the year 2024, the following school support interventions have been implemented:

1. Provision of equipment for the dining hall of Ta Nhiu Primary and Lower Secondary School
100 steel chairs, 100 steel bowls, and 100 steel spoons were distributed.
A total of 415 students attend the school (24 of whom are part of the SAD program).

2. Provision of bunk beds for Nam Dan Primary and Lower Secondary School
40 bunk beds were distributed, providing a total of 80 new beds.
A total of 397 students attend the primary school, and 305 students attend the lower secondary school (9 of whom are part of the SAD program).

3. Provision of a water heater for Ban Ngo Primary School
This water heater was requested to allow the children to wash with hot water during the coldest months.
A total of 440 students attend this school (9 of whom are supported by the SAD program).

4. Provision of a computer for Nam Dan Lower Secondary School
The computer will be used for student activities and classroom presentations.
A total of 305 students attend this school (8 of whom are supported by the SAD program).
